Volunteering with Josoor
Remote volunteers to help with fundraising, advocacy, and other tasks are always welcome.
Due to the complex environment and conditions we operate in, volunteer positions "on the ground" are very limited and we require a minimum commitment of three months.

Working with Josoor
Coordinator positions are published on this page when available.
Due to limited funds, our coordinator positions are currently still unpaid, however we do provide accommodation for coordinators "on the ground" in Turkey.
We are working on funding and hope to soon be able to pay appropriate remuneration to all our staff that has so far been working voluntarily.
Open Position: Internal Coordinator
We are looking for an Internal Coordinator to bring our team to the next level!
Application deadline: July 15
Starting our operations in Turkey in March 2020, we initially only planned to be a short-term emergency response project but now have grown into a new organisation and expanded significantly both in scope and team members. For one and a half years now we have been operating as a small team of volunteers, with many dedicated to Josoor full time. At the end of 2020, we have decided to continue our work in Turkey indefinitely and that it is now time for us to professionalise ourselves. An important step in this process is the hiring of a full-time internal coordinator to connect the different working groups, keep an overview of tasks and deadlines, as well as facilitate smooth workflows and address any internal issues that might arise.
Since this position is newly established, it is a necessity that the applicant is proactive and has the ability to take initiative. On the other hand, this newly created position allows for a lot of room to come up with and implement your own ideas as we are always open to change and input.

Open Position: Fundraising Coordinator
We are looking for a Fundraising Coordinator to help secure the budget necessary for Josoor to continue its work!
Application deadline: July 15
Starting our operations in Turkey in March 2020, we initially only planned to be a short-term emergency response project but now have grown into a new organisation and expanded significantly both in scope and expenses. For one and a half years now we have been operating mostly through private donations, with one grant obtained in 2020. At the end of 2020, we have decided to continue our work in Turkey indefinitely and that it is now time for us to professionalise ourselves. An important step in this process is the hiring of a fundraising coordinator who will be responsible for applying to and writing grant applications, seeking new grant opportunities and coming up with innovative fundraising ideas. It is essential for the continuation of Josoor's work that we have a steady flow of funds.
Since this position is newly established, it is a necessity that the applicant is proactive and has the ability to take initiative. On the other hand, this newly created position allows for a lot of room to come up with and implement your own ideas as we are always open to change and input.
